Forest Worker Credentialing Program
The Forest Worker Certificate Program was developed to prepare future workers for employment in one of the South’s largest industries. Employment opportunities vary greatly and include jobs in logging, forest management, timber procurement, sawmills, plywood mills, pulp and paper mills, and a wide variety of companies that provide goods and services to the forest industry. This curriculum has been developed specifically for application across the South. In order for an educator to offer this certificate to their students as an approved credential, the educator must comply with the standards approved by the Georgia Department of Education within the Georgia CTAE pathway course offerings.
