Lumber Grader/Inspector

Position is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin 

Primary duties and responsibilities include consistent and accurate grading of surfaced and green lumber in a high production manufacturing operation. The successful candidate must be NHLA certified or equivalent experience, have the flexibility and ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced work environment with primary focus on personal and team safety behaviors. Key Functions

Grading lumber according the NWH proprietary grades

Maintaining grading accuracy in a fast paced environment

Working with QC on current grade guidelines


Requirements

NHLA certification preferred or equivalent experience

Exhibit high level of flexibility.

Excellent attendance record

Excellent communication skills

Team Player and Self-Starter

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
