This is a level 2 completer course in the agricultural education natural resources pathway and includes a credential. The pilot course has been released for the 2024-2025 school year. Forest Worker Certificate Program

Forest Worker Certificate Program
The Forest Worker Certificate Program was developed to prepare future workers for employment in one of the South’s largest industries. Employment opportunities vary greatly and include jobs in logging, forest management, timber procurement, sawmills, plywood mills, pulp and paper mills and a wide variety of companies that provide goods and services to the forest industry.
This curriculum has been developed specifically for application across the South and adapted to fit North Carolina land management practices and techniques.
