DDM 10 Operator requirements
1. Needs a strong back ground in mechanical knowledge and industrial maintenance.
2. Must be able to read measuring tools such as a measuring tape, calipers, micrometers
and dial indicators
3. Operator must be able to pay attention and watch the infeed of the machine, the
outfeed of the machine, multiple computer screens and up to 8 camera monitors
simultaneously.
4. Must be capable of navigating an HMI screen and operation program to make
adjustments during the run and while machine is shut down.
5. Must be willing to work long hours and some weekends in order to keep the machine in
good running order for the following shift.
6. Must be able to supply hand tools such as open end and box end wrenches, ratchet,
sockets, allen wrenches, channel lock pliers, crescent wrench.
7. Must be proficient with an oxygen/acetylene torch and a welding machine.
8. The employee needs to be comfortable working in small or tight spaces.
9. Must be proficient with adjusting and using a torque wrench.
10. Employee needs to have a basic understanding of pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic
cylinders, servo valves, etc.
11. Must have an understanding of basic lock out tag out procedures and why they must be
used.
It is the responsibility of the operator to operate the machine in a safe and proficient manner
while maintaining and servicing the machine as needed.
