Hood Plywood, a division of Hood Industries, Inc., is seeking a Dryer Feeder for our Wiggins, MS facility. The successful candidates should have experience with heavy machinery and a strong record of safety in a physically demanding role. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate controls to pull-in veneer loads. Straighten sheets to allow auto feeder to pick them up properly. • Feed sheets by hand that the feeder will not pick up. • Use pike pole to remove veneer plug-ups from infeed tipple. • Remove large debris using a long rake, hook, or by hand.• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, and help maintain a safe, orderly work environment.
• Report safety hazards, quality concerns, and production issues to a supervisor as soon as they occur.

Education/Experience: • High school diploma or GED preferred,
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Ability to frequently pull and lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Information:
