Overview: Shuqualak Lumber Co.'s Planermill division is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating heavy-duty or high-capacity forklifts and be able to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Weekend shifts are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty or high-capacity forklifts to transport lumber and other materials throughout the facility.
  
  
• Load and unload trucks and ensure proper material handling and storage.
  
  
• Maintain safety protocols while operating equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
  
  
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
  
  
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow in the Planermill.
  
  

• Assist with other duties as needed to support the Planermill's operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with heavy-duty or high-capacity forklifts (required).
  
  
• Ability to work weekends (required).
  
  
• Knowledge of proper safety procedures and forklift maintenance.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  
  
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
