Forest Worker Certificate Program

How to Offer to Students:

In order for a Kentucky educator to offer this certificate to their students as an approved credential, the educator must attend one of our workshops. Contact Chad Niman at for more information.

All students must pass the Forest Worker exam to earn the Forest Worker Credential. This exam can be accessed by teachers through the online exam request form.

The Forest Worker Certificate Program was developed to prepare future workers for employment in one of the South’s largest industries. Employment opportunities vary greatly and include jobs in logging, forest management, timber procurement, sawmills, plywood mills, pulp and paper mills and a wide variety of companies that provide goods and services to the forest industry.
