How to Use This Calculator
This calculator estimates the total cost of implementing ForestryWorks® curriculum in your state. Simply select your state, adjust the parameters below, and the tool will automatically calculate your Year One and recurring annual costs.
Understanding the Parameters:
State / Affiliate: Selecting your state automatically sets the Growth Potential based on
your state's education infrastructure, FFA membership, and CTE enrollment data.
# of Programs: The number of distinct curriculum credentials you're implementing.
More programs unlock bulk discounts (2 programs: 10%, 3: 15%, 4+: 20%).
Participating Schools: Number of schools joining in Year 1. For every 10 schools
beyond the first 20, an additional $250 is added to account for increased support needs.
Growth Potential: Multiplier based on your state's capacity for expansion.
Auto-populated by state selection, but can be manually adjusted:
- Low (1.0x) - Limited expansion capacity
- Moderate (1.1x) - Steady growth potential
- High (1.25x) - Strong expansion opportunity
Optional Modifiers: One-time add-ons for specialized services like travel,
extended implementation hours, or custom LMS/CRM features. These are included in Year One costs only.
