Financial assistance is provided for individuals who are interested in beginning a career in the forest industry but require technical training prior to employment.

Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old or older and able to qualify for the job sought
- The training program must be offered by FWTI or FWTI-approved providers including but not limited to: community or technical schools/colleges, and local/state/federal training providers For information on approved providers, please email fwti@alaforestry.org
- Available only for individuals who reside in Alabama
Financial assistance will be awarded at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Committee based on any or all of the following factors: the amount of funds available, the number of applicants, and the qualifications and needs of the applicant.
